I hate having problems with Directx. WOuld really like to find a way to fix this without having to reinstall windows. Right now, when running the dxdiagnostic, when I do the Test for Direct3d, it is failing on the dx8 and dx9 tests. Dx7 does fine(spinning cube). Dx8 the cube is just frozen. Dx9 the cube spins for a second, then freezes. Now I haven't been having any problems until I installed and ran the Joint Operations demo...so don't know if it is related. So, as it stands, when I run software that uses dx8 or 9 it freezes up, with graphical errors.
