Added bonus disc for T:V ???

Just wondering, why not release a full copy of T1 with T:V, as a bonus disc or something ? I mena its hard as hell to buy the game now a days, and when u can you can usually get it for 5 $ or so at local game store, when they have it in stock, at the mall. This couldnt hurt sells, and since tribes 1 is pretty dead, could possibly rekindle interest in that game ???

Tribes 1 is simply too difficult for newbies and requires a script pack to even play.

Edit: In this vein, I'd like to note that if I can play T:V without rebinding a single key (or maybe a key or two) I'll be insanely happy.

Yes. After using the Tribes2 key config for awhile I rebound T1 to it, and use ESDF for every other FPS now.

maybe becuz they know T2 sucks more than T1?

I prefer ESDF over WASD as well. It's more natural as it allows you to rest your left hand on the home row keys used for typewriting.

It is, in fact, practically a requirement to play it with scripts, and any new people who came into servers to check it out would just be really turned off by all the cheating and chainwhoring and elitism that they could easily avoid in T2 and hopefully T:V as well.

i was actually playing some LT last night in 5150(e or w i dont remember) and only 1 person was using the chain to attack people rather than flag chase, i was impressed (i was even more impressed when he started chaining and i slapped him in the fudgeing face with a disc)
