Have they changed the disc speed on the disclauncher? it seems faster than it looked on the vids released a while ago..seems better now.

Yeah, yeah, I figured that out.

Anyway, on the subject of the gameplay movies I've seen so far:

No. 8 - Level design seem all right so far. Enemies seem to be decently competent while remaining cannon fodder enough for one to plow through a few dozen in order to finish the mission.

"Easy is no fun..." ...yeah, Julie, well I won't be taking it easy on your pretty posterior if I don't get my targeting laser... :browsmile

No. 7 - Having never really played T2 at length against the bots and beaten the T1 training missions too often to count, it was rather refreshing on my part to see Tribes bots competent enough to fly. I just wish I knew what was up with that beeping...is Julia invading a high-security Phoenix facility or just knocking over the local supermarket?

No. 6 - I know full well that the jetpack noise at this stage most likely isn't final, but it still sounds kind of wonky to me. I note my approval again of the level design -- lots of headroom to fly around despite being in a decidedly indoor environment.

No. 5 - Okay, I don't entirely get how the energy blade works in this vid. The guy thrusts his arm thingy forward, but he seems to be able to hit people from a rather substantial range. When he sticks that arm out, does a blade extension or something come out? (I can't see clearly.) I also don't get how he managed to kill the guy with the disc launcher, he didn't seem to be in position for a rather short-range MA. Is the energy blade purely a melee weapon, or is it just a really short-range, nerfed "gun" of sorts?
