Hey guys. I recently purchased an E-machine 3200. Checking it out I noticed it was quite a bit better than my old comp, 512 ram (I actually has 1024), 2.2 ghz (I had 1.6), cd burners, geforce MX. I booted up, installed 1 game and threw in my geforce 4 to replace the MX for gaming. I find that I skip around playing the game, and also I used to be able to do more than 1 thing at a time such as have kazaa open, play game, and browse the internet all at the same time with winamp going. Now I'm lucky if I can run the game at a decent speed. I can't open IE with other programs because it takes about 4 minutes for IE to pop up and overall my system is just extremely slow. My question is, would anyone have an explanation for this? My only guess is that the difference between 512 and 1024 is humongous. But even my old comp with 128 could run game and IE together.... Any ideas guys?
Thanks.
Thanks.
