Tribes Talk is a heavily moderated forum. When a thread digresses to the general idiocy that happens in General Discussion, it is locked to prevent that from spreading. Good ideas and comments were no longer being placed in that thread, thus it had lost it worthiness. If you want to bash on people or their ideas/opinions, do it in GD. Eh. At any rate, I'm glad to see the EB. It may be less powerful than the shocklance, and that may be a good thing balance-wise, but it's still my knife, and dammit, I'm gonna stab the crap out of people with it. Starting with Thrax, of course.

while I'm sad to see the targeting laser go, the knife is most definently cool and welcome

Just treat it like the cs knife, decently powerful, last resort, and not normally selected when you run through your weapons (as in, when you hit the next weapon key or your mouse scroll up, the knife isn't selected).

I can already see the CS cronies hopping like they're rabbits on drugs, knives drawn and ready.. : \
