Ok, so ive had my monitor (nec/mitsubishi diamond pro 930 sb) for a while, no problems, and just recently i bought a geforce fx 5800 ultra, now when i uninstalled the drivers for my previous card, removed the card, and then plugged in the 5800, it worked fine once, i installed the drivers, changed my settings, restarted. When i restarted my monitor didnt turn on, after a while i tried again and it did, this time, the self check at the begging's text was distorted, but readable, and once i logged into xp, the monitor went black and eveyrthing adjusted fine. So i restarted once more, and now everthing is scrambled, you can make out the xp loading screen and icons and such, but it is just horrible. So i switched to some 60hz old ass monitor, and hooked my diamond pro up to my shitty second computer, and both work fine. -.-
The diamond pro and the 5800 ultra will complement each other nicely....but they arent working together, any tips or suggestions to alleviate this problem will be greatly appreciated.
**update: Nothing is distorted anymore, however, once i log into XP, during things that auto exec during startup, my monitor turns off and goes to power save, and is unable to turn back on, and the cards fan goes on, i dont have this problem when i load windows on the computer with the 5800 and the IBM monitor, nor do i have a problem when i load windows on my crappy computer with the diamond pro..........help........ .for the love of all that is holy.

Asus a7n8x deluxe mobo, amd athalon 2100+ proc, 400watt pow max power supply, geforce fx 5800 ultra, 1024 mb corsair dual channel ddr ram pc 3200 400mhz, mistsubishi/nec diamond pro 930 sb.
