[T2 Help] T2 Tag Using a Fullstop

Ive been told you can use the period symbol in a tag if you do a fresh unpatch install of T2.
However, when you start the unpatch version up, it asks you to create a warrior, so I enter my current name in, it sits there on the "Creating Warrior" dialouge for ages seemingly doing nothing.

It is possible as the current team I am in used the same method and it worked for them, but its not working for me :/

Does anyone know a work around or a different method?

ok. for putting a dot in your tribe tag.
load up t2. log in. then press Alt+f1 after you log in. then an editor should come up. where it says "GameGui - 2613", click that drop down menu and look for CreateTribesDlg. click on the box right by the text "Tribe Name:".. now a menu should come up on the bottom right. look for IRCName. uncheck that shit. now press apply which is located in the middle right. now do it for the "Tribe tag:" box. press save then go back to the drop down menu that now says "CreateTribeDlg". look for "GameGui - 2613". now press Alt+f1. click browser and now create your tag. you can only put dots n shit in your tag when you CREATE a tribe. you cannot edit an already made tag. it'll just do a "_" isntead of a "."
