Computer restarting on it's own..

I don't think its anything overheating, because it only happens when I click something, and it can be anything, a link to a site, a button in a game, anything... it only happens once every couple days or so, but it's annoying :\

System specs:

P4 2.4GHz HT
MSI 865PE NEO-2 Mobo
ATi Radeon 9800 Pro
512MB Kingston ram (3200 I think)
Windows XP ;f

Do you get a blue screen error? Scan for viruses and spyware. Is your power supply sufficient for your computer components?

No bsod, scanned for viruses, I get rid of spyware weekly, and my powersupply is fine..

Is it a PS/2 mouse? Try using a USB mouse or get a USB adapter and see if that solves the problem.

I have 2 mice plugged in atm, both usb, I'll unplug one and see if that helps. (one coordless, and a normal mouse when my batteries die ;f)

turn off auto-restarting on error

control panel -> system -> advanced tab -> startup and recovery "settings" button
