Ok Well ... My internet is set to Medium. I used Ad ware to get rid of all of the spy ware on this computer and for a couple hours nothing would pop up but then all of a sudden the same pop ups and stuff keep coming up for some reason... i can keep cleaning my comp out and it will just come back a couple hours later...
can n e one help me on this?

Download SpySweeper from here (http://www.webroot.com/wb/downloads/index.php). It has an active cookie, home page and memory shield to eliminate spyware as soon as you get it.

The trial version works fine for me. It doesn't expire over time and can be used as many times you want. The only drawback of not being a subscriber is that you can't download new spy definitions.

Ad-Aware is also good. It has been suggested that Ad-Aware AND Spybot more or less help cover all the bases. I ran a copy of Ad-aware and then spybot right after and Spybot found 27 entries ad-aware had missed.

Yeah, I use AA and SS simultaneously too. And AntiVir. Good luck to anything that gets behind that.

patch windows
install a software firewall like Zonealarm

are these "Messenger" popups, as in just a text box with a bunch of ad. text? If so: Disabling Messenger service in Windows XP (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/using/howto/communicate/stopspam.asp)
