need help with tribes ;/

ok tribes worked when i was home. when i went to school everything fires up but when i get ingame in a join game setting it goes to 996 everytime. maybe the school blocks the tribes port but i dunno if thats it. if anyone can help me that would be great.

The same problem occured at our school when joining a server outside of the school's LAN, so I'd say it's the school's firewall. If more of you play, then one of you dropping and rejoining solves the problem sometimes... for a minute or two, that is... :hrm:
