I think Ive seen how to do this, but I forgotten how. When I boot up, my account is there, and I have to click it to get to my desktop. On some isntalls it does this, on others it doesnt. Em's PC doesnt do it right now.

I looked on account in the CP and didnt see any option to disable this. Just a little annoying, and Id like to lose it.

I thought that they removed that in an update. If not, then I'd like to know this myself.

If you want to autolog a user, both TweakUI and the Resource Kit utility AUTOLOG.EXE will do it for you. To configure this using the registry, edit:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Softwa re\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogo n

Set the DefaultDomainName, DefaultPassword (must be non-blank), and DefaultUserName. Set AutoAdminLogon to 1 (all are type REG_SZ). If you ever want to logon as a different user, hold down the shift key as you logoff.

Note:Your password is stored in plain text in the registry and can be seen by someone with the authority to view a remote registry.

I never set a password though. So you're saying I have to have a PW for it to autolog me on?
