Incorrect Processor Speeds [Archive]

Here's the situation. It's a PC that I built, no problems until this morning. When I booted it up, it read: Unknown Processer Type: 1743MHz, when it should be running and reading AMD Athlon XP 2700+ or something.

I checked the System tab thing, and it said the same exact thing that it said at bootup. (not reading what it should) I changed nothing, added no hardware in the passed week, or over 6 months from when Ive built it, changed no motherboard jumper settings.

Any ideas?
