That's good too. I was just thinking more along the lines that Col already apologized, and many have forgiven him, but to aid in the healing process, maybe get rid of the object in question.

I don't think anyone can stay mad at Colossus. His intentions are always good from the years I have known him.

i don't think colosus set out to deliberately deceive people, but i do think it was a bit misleading. sure, i forgive him for that, but who really cares if i forgive him. he certainly wouldn't have lost sleep over it, and i'm not going to lose any sleep over it now.


it's a matter of putting money in for what we thought was the purpose, and later finding out it really wasn't, at least not the entirety of it. let's say TW continues growing, and WOFN kind of fades out. in 2-3 years, we're going to be having another drive for a needed upgraded because the current servers can't handle it. the leftover money that was used COULD have been used to buy a better, faster, more powerful server, and that could have held off another needed upgrade for a year or two, but instead, the money was spent on a laptop.

you can't deny that the impression given off was that all the money would be spent on a TW equipment/hardware upgrade to operate the servers, NOT a laptop.

that's why people are annoyed, frustrated, and maybe angry.

I do see why some might be put off by the situation, but at the same time why is it so hard to accept an apology, (not you, you have said you forgive him) It not like Colosus has been living off of Tribalwar donations, I can't think of any previous time that he has done anything that would warrent this kind of reaction. He made a mistake, and he apologized. The WOFN staff are going to correct it. Everything will be as it should be and I guarantee you he wont make the same mistake again. Colosus does a good job with Tribalwar and he at least deserves to be forgiven when he makes a mistake.
