Am I the only one just damn curious for more details on the whole story? Not because I doubt it's authenticity, but this is such a great thread it seems necessary=)

Sweet, some new tricks to add to the file.

At any rate, I'd still like to find out what the name of the software they use is and where I can get a copy.

If you're using IE. Us Opera users are SOL. :)

gl though, if anyone has heard of the book "Face on the Milk Carton" or seen the movie, this sounds oddly similar, heh.

I would like to know how he was kidnapped and how you were reunited though.
Yeah, Opera doesn't seem to respond well to images that large. If it does load for you you can always zoom out by scrolling with the wheel and holding down control.

I have been following this thread since it was first posted and let me just say. You guys all rock. Vet keep your head up and as Cheater says, The best times are yet to come.

btw. Oh_Heck is going to school for this kinda shit and is an awesome artist. You should see some of the stuff he has been doing in 3D Studio Max or whatever program they are using.

<3 all.

']:) haven't forgotten about the feet. Saving those for last. Focusing right now on getting the stripes to look acceptable on his fathers suit. I'll see about the hand idea. Not sure I want to move him over to the left though. Prefer to keep him offset to the right so his son stands out a bit more, versus having his father overshadowing him. Gonna take a break and grab some dinner. Thx for the input, keep it comin.

I'm extremely impressed. I think you could already frame it as is and fool most people into thinking its authentic.

Awesome, I hope Oh Heck can use this in a portfolio and land a great job. Taking on a task like this pro bono is just an incredible display of compassion and skill.

Here's something I found on age progression that may be helpful to someone with more talent in PS than myself.

I would also like to know the back-story, but I also respect Viet's right to privacy.

so VV, if you would like to share it with us, we would appreciate it, but if you choose not to, we fully understand.

Use the blur tool around some of the edges of the wrinkles in his face, it should soften them up and make them look more natural.

His right eye looks almost unchanged from the young to the old as well. Especially on the lower eyelid.
