its just a tshirt dude. i wear mine all the time. right now its lying in my clean clothes pile on my floor.

mcfarlane action figures would kick ass. the only one ive even concidered buying was ash and i passed up on that but a really detailed heavy or a capper dueling with some LD would go ontop of my desk.

tribes chess would be cool. i might get one depending on how good the pieces looked and what was what on it.

as for give away items at a lan or when you buy the game during the 1st few weeks of release, a disklauncher keychain would kick ass. even if it didnt have a little led light in it. also maybe some shot glasses with some characters from T:V posing on them.

tshirts are good and all but how many of you wear a tribes or lan tshirt out in public to the mall or someplace? i own a few tribes related shirts and ive only worn them 1 or 2 times. not exacty a money making product that advartises the game.

we could hold a design a t-shirt contest, and sell them here on tw. I've got some cool ideas for shirts.

Ok, just had an idea : Any of you guys remember the old Ninja Tutrles "pizza launcher" disk shooting toys? Why not make a similar disk launcher: The T:V disk launcher that fires little plastic or foam disks. Then at lans we could have duels IRL and MA eachother...

well, about a month to a week before release irrational could place very catchy banners on sites such as IGN etc... any highly visited gaming website.

i seriously doubt that they need hints on how to advertise the game. we're talking about merchandise here.

I'd personally love to have one of the T-shirts, I know I'd wear it. I want a T:V knife with all the logos engraved somewhere on the handle/blade. Lighters would be shweet too. Real life sized cloth flags with logos and all, exactly as they would be in-game, would just be so Damned cool.

EDIT: just thought of this. You know how they have butane lighters that are in the shape of guns and dragons and such? Why not a chaingun or burner lighter?
