Will someone press the Sierra people to answer whether or not any of the cool UT2k4 engine features will be licensed into T:V like Unreal TV or the demo recording to DivX?

Will someone press the Sierra people to answer whether or not any of the cool UT2k4 engine features will be licensed into T:V like Unreal TV or the demo recording to DivX?Those are not "Unreal" features, those are features specific to certain games made using the Unreal engine. As I've said many times before, we deviated from the Unreal engine about two years ago. Even if the DivX thing were available (it's not) it would be painful to integrate it back into the Vengeance Engine.

I can guarantee we won't have the DivX thing. It's just plain stupid. The only thing it's good for is compressing a full un-edited recording, and the recording would be smaller. For everything else, I'd want the least compression possible, so that I'm not double compressing video during the editing process. (and if anybody argues that compressing with DivX is better for quality than uncompressed video, I will hunt you down and feed you to a pack of wild muskrats). Paying a huge licensing fee to DivX for that would be silly.
