<a href="http://www.starsiegeuniverse.com/">StarsiegeUniverse</a> and <a href="http://www.tribesroleplayers.org/">TribesRoleplayers</a> is pleased to bring you the second and final installment of their exclusive two part <a href="http://www.starsiegeuniverse.com/index.php?page=trpnews/archives/2004/02/interview_with_a_writing_ team_pt2.php&strip=bare">interview</a> with Blake Hutchins and the writing team from <a href="http://www.starsiege2845.com/">Starsiege 2845</a>. Part one of their interview focused on some of the challenges the team faces in crafting their single player campaign, and how they are dealing with the expectations surrounding the project. In part two the team answered questions about the backstory, some of what we should and shouldn't expect to see in the single player campaign, and what they see for the future of gaming and their own careers in particular. The second half of this interview also features two more exlcusive screenshots.
<blockquote class=p><b>SSU:</b> Well it definitely sounds as if the universe is in good hands, so what we are all dying to know now is 'what next?' Have you all talked any about plans for a possible sequel or expansion pack yet? Or maybe another game in a different universe?
<b>David:</b> Naturally we've tossed some ideas around in the abstract, but really it's way too early to be seriously considering those issues.
<b>Blake:</b> That's way beyond putting the cart before the horse. That's like throwing the cart into the next county with a catapult. We had some discussion about alternative game universes while we were waiting to hear the final word from Sierra. So we had enough concepted to work out a Plan B if we hadn't gotten permission to work on Starsiege.
<b>David:</b> Our focus for right now though is making this game. We can't even begin to talk about other titles until after we've proven we can execute on this one.</blockquote>
