The Fighter (was: The pod)?

Anyone really like how this thing looks? I think it looks to big and bulky.

I think the pod could be really fun if its done right. We need to see some vids first.

The Pheonix one looks cool. The BE one looks dumb. Definately need some footage to tell more.

I think people object because it is not very sleek and fighter-like. :shrug:
It does not seem to be designed to go fast, in other words. Too rounded and not enough aerodynamic features to the design.

But think about it people... Tribes vehicles are not really meant to go fast really.
I prefer the design that implies a greater degree of movement in all directions rather than the traditional sleek fighter design that implied specific forward movement.
Which, in the end was not how tribes vehicles actually moved at all.
The way the air vehicles moved and their jetfighter design did not really fit together all that well in the previous games, Imho.

So I guess what I'm saying is that I like the pod. It has an interesting and different design, and I think that design will jibe more with the actual movement that it will be capable of.

...This is not to say that it won't be fast of course.
I have no way of knowing that.
But telling from the design, i suspect it will be highly mobile.
Just my opinion untill we see some footage of it in action.

It just doesnt look very aerodynamic or even like it would be able to fly but ya some video of it would help.

maybe it wont be very fast and thats the look thay are going for.
