Amadeus 02-01-2004, 03:37 AM Flatscan, proud member of the Isaac Newton Posthumous Rotationary Company. Thrax Panda 02-01-2004, 04:20 AM btw Newtonian physics only work under certain sets of conditions. All of which apply in this case. JodoFett 02-01-2004, 04:22 AM Wouldn't standing on a disk make you go all spinny and throw up? Neek 02-01-2004, 04:49 AM Wouldn't standing on a disk make you go all spinny and throw up? That would be part of your special attack when riding disks. Projectile vomit attack! Omg NOOOOOOOOOO! we just cleaned the base you bastards! JodoFett 02-01-2004, 04:51 AM So now we need toe chunky soup pack, so that you can carry more vomit. Neek 02-01-2004, 05:03 AM I like where this game is heading Jodofett Thrax panda, head developer of Tribes : Vengeance. Keep up teh gud werk1! JodoFett 02-01-2004, 05:03 AM He is a producer. Sp!nfusor Salad 02-01-2004, 08:57 PM Well I consider this better than the current...OMG WE MOVE FASTER IN WATER!!1 "feature" Zoolooman 02-01-2004, 08:59 PM What are you smoking? Watch the footage Spinfusor, then tell me you go faster in an unrealistic way. Note that: 1. Jetting upwards would actually be faster in water. 2. You are more bouyant in water, and therefore need less jet power to support your weight. Sp!nfusor Salad 02-01-2004, 09:09 PM from what I saw the water looked like a warp pad! Zoolooman 02-01-2004, 09:21 PM Breakdown of water time: 38:10 - Enters the water, skiing down the round gray wall. 38:13 - Slows from entry to a stop. 38:14 - Walks on the bottom. 38:16 - Begins to swim upwards without jetting. 38:18 - Begins to jet out of the water. 38:18 - Leaves the water. 38:23 - Reaches apex of jump, pauses on the ledge, drops back down. 38:27 - After floating around chaining, he drops back into the water. 38:28 - He slows to a stop instantly, and begins to swim in the water. 38:32 - Begins jetting out of the water again. 38:33 - Leaves the water. 38:51 - After some fighting, enters the water again at a shallow angle and speed. 38:52 - He has slowed to a stop. 39:01 - After swimming around looking at a body, he taps his jets. 39:05 - Jets out of the waters surface. 39:17 - Leaves the water room. At no point in this entire sequence does he ever speed up because of the water. You are wrong Spinfusor. Sp!nfusor Salad 02-01-2004, 09:48 PM If I am it is because I love you just too much Zooloo  Zoolooman 02-01-2004, 09:50 PM I would think you would be happy to be wrong. After all, you specifically didn't want water to be fast. And it definately isn't. <3 | ||
