The video issue I had was related to some omega drivers I installed last night, I went back to my previous drivers and the video runs fine. It also affected all wmv files. If you know how to fix this while still running omega drivers I'd like to know :>

I hope they have a way to adjust the volume of each effect individually, same with taunts.
Some sounds are ok to hear over and over, but the jet pack, and the skiing, I think I'd get tired of hearing it over and over. The skiing sound wasn't in there, but the jet pack was, and it was kinda loud. Maybe the music will drown them out, I dunno. Make a screen so each one can be turned off. Or put each sound effect level in the config file so users can edit it.

Didn't see hud messages yet, but I only want to see messages that involve me. I don't need to see a scrolling display of everyone else, because that scrolls off the team chat messages too fast.

On taunts, it should be like a human voice, and only players near me should play the taunt. I don't need to hear someone 1000 meters away saying, "You are weak" over and over. Plus it will cut down on overhead if the taunts are only played for people that can hear them.

What I'm basically getting at, is I don't want to hear a bunch of annoying sounds and distractions as I play.
I think that could be abused in a way. Maybe cranking up jetpack sounds or footsteps or something so you can more easily hear people coming.

My monitor's brightness is a bit dark on default and I can't see shit! I can't figure out how raise the brightness of the vid with winamp, raising the desktop brightness doesn't effect the vid when playing in winamp (why?!?).

Will the 2 minute video be released to the public or will the whole press event footage be released in a "normal" file format?

Wow....seeing a capable skier at the controls finally made me alot more excited about the way the game is going. I have to say, even with the video compression, the game looks amazing.

Goto your GFX display options in Display Settings, put 'Graphics Acceleration' down to the 2nd notch from the left, then your gamma should also work for the video (remember to change it back).

No Spyware included. I would definitely "purchase" the Winamp 5 Pro version at the "store" though.
