Quick Media game story

After the presentation we went into another room and played some small sided games on the Fort map. At one point Colosus or somebody on the BE side was owning our flag and I decided to HoF to see if I could slow him down a bit. So I'm standing out in front of our base watching for cappers. Somebody comes over a hill, and two sniper shots take him down. Another guy comes the other way and a chain and sniper combo take him out. Two guys standing on either side of me have decided to take up light D. This continues for a while with nobody getting close to our flag, and I'm starting to get a bit bored, because everybody is getting wacked before I get a chance to mortar them. So I go over to the guys next to me (on the map) to see who they were. On my left: Special. On my right: Daunt. So Daunt, Special, and Thrax are playing defense against a bunch of (nice, but slightly less experienced) editors. At that point I decided to HO :).

(i would flame your story.. but i fell asleep about 3 sentences into that paragraph. weren't you an english major? where is the excitement?)

Locke will be participating in our noob tests to tell us if we've finally made it easy enough to ski that he can figure out how to venture off the roof of his base and move a little.

I just wanted to mortar colosus, but I never saw him. I think he'd switched to LD by that time. I got to blow him up good later though.

That would mean that the game would have to ski for him though, wouldn't it?

are daunt and special TW or media or just tribers representitives?

They said that they're putting in "Sprinting/Running" for people like Locke who cant ski. Did you experience that thrax? Or were you too busy sliding across the terrain :D

And then thrax came HO, charged me and then two other guys came up behind him and started chaining his ass while I kept him busy. Then he screamed "You multiplied. WTF"

It wasn't very fair when Pixie and I had editors on our team vs Special, Daunt, Thrax and Ed. Hmmmm Who's going to win that one?

Yes. I can't give an accurate comparison, but it was there and was useful to get speed quickly.

I think he's making fun of the fact that you guys said "Sliding" instead of skiing. As for his sprinting comment, I have no freaking clue.

I have come to the conclusion i need to update/ get a new computer and buy tribes vengeance.
