Never been to one, simply cuz it's pretty well out of my area and I have a wife and two kids to take care of. And at my last job, summers were always so busy that it was just impossible.

Doesn't mean I wouldn't love to go to one.

Haven't been to one, FogieLAN last fall was the first time I ever did anything computer-related that people outside my wife knew about. It was fun, but UVA is a LOOOONG drive from Iowa.

I plan to buy a house this spring, and if that goes through I doubt I'll have the money for hotel, gas, food, entrance fees, and whatever else goes down. If I can afford it though I'd love to go meet present and former teammates and see some sights.

Been to two lans (FogieLAN 1 and JobieLAN 1 coincidentally...) Would love to go to one of the larger LANs such as UVALAN but finding the time and cash is problematic sometimes, since I can't usually go go solo.

Distance is one major factor, dragging my box and monitor along is another.

One thing that worked well (from my perspective, at least,) was having monitors available for "rent" for the LAN, that way all you need to worry about bringing along is your box, which in some people's cases is huge (pardon the pun).

My first was UVA5, drove all the ay from Canada, and i'll be damned if i'm gonna miss another UVA (money and time permitting) :D

I'd go, if I knew that T:V Beta was gonna be there (first released) and we'd be stress testing it with some of the DEV's on site!!! :)

I went to Tribescon and loved it.. I live in the Midwest now, so I'm kinda closer to UVALAN.

I've never been to one but I really want to go to one... only reason I havn't gone was due to my age, 17, and lack of shall we say... freedom? :)

Oh, and if it was in Huntsville Alabama I would go even if I was 12.

Do I need to donate money to the cause? Id be glad to...transportation is a problem, so I would need a job of course by then. Also with college coming up its iffy...but I would LOVE to go.

No way this summer (finishing up a degree in Aug), but if only Virginia wasn't all the way in Virginia... Too long a drive from there (Central Texas) and I couldn't afford to fly--and wouldn't want to come without my own PC. :( HoustonLAN & FogieLAN (Austin) have been my only Tribes-related LANs because they were so close.
