Thank you for downloading DemoPackGold, and thank ALL of you who've downloaded previous versions of DP, without you, we wouldn't be able to call this GOLD! We hope you enjoy our twisted view of T2 as we attempt to make this a better game... well a 'decent' game. We have put a lot of effort into the previous packs and we've made this as kind of a final blowout before T:V! This time we've added some things community members have made but haven't gotten any respect for it. We hope to promote those people who try to make the T2 community a better place. How about a summary for those of us that AREN'T familliar with it to begin with.

All I know about it is there's all the stuff under that paragraph in it and that its listed under RDB > Tribes 2 > Sound Packs > DemoPack: Gold.

I seen what I thought said "Horde" skins but I don't see them after install. But what I DO see are the Littlewing skins I made ;)

How about a summary for those of us that AREN'T familliar with it to begin with.



DemoPack 1 was released after UVA4. It was on small ftps and had a cult following. Few people had it, it was about 10 megs and had only a few sounds. We contiuned to add sounds and on november 22, 2002 we released DemoPack 2. It was an instant success in the Tribes 2 community! After about 600 downloads, we released DemoPack 3 which included a few maps, a skin or two, and more sounds.

Back in December DemoPack went Gold (1000 dl's) and we wanted to give back to the community. I then compiled the best skins I could find and the most innovative/best maps. We also added many sounds and we added 2 "themed vehicles" the Howard Dean Bomber and the Isrieli Tank. We decided to release it on the press conference night because it would bring a lot of publicity :-).

Now go download it!
