T:V article in PC Gamer

I guess the pod could be great fun, with it's numerous truster and compact shape it looks like it would be highly maneuverable but relatively slow, so i imagine it would feel like a hover turret or something.

On the weapons: i think the front of it looke like a slot of some sort...

Awesome article...the Pod does look a bit unusual :/ but it also looks fun to.
And the water is sweet, looks much better now.

That "POD" looks exactly like the submersible airship they had in pokemon snap (dont ask how I know about that *insert horrible childhood memory*)

The Pod on page one looks sweet, the one on page two looks a a bit weird and is lacking anims. I can see how it would be a giant backpack from the first page, but the second page doesn't seem to fit the model well, or the angle is off.

Also, camping the v-pad in T2 could be done multiple ways: Bomber, Tank, Cloaker, Sniper, or my favorite: satchel charge. Granted, none of this was done much, even in pubs, but when it was done it was highly annoying (added to the already long lines at the v pad)

I don't like the independently spawning vehicles myself. I would much rather have a v-pad which came with a "fast-favs" pre-selection hud from the start (and the spawning time was severely reduced from T2's). As long as v-spawns can be stopped by taking out the gens I think I might be able to adjust.

lol. I was thinking maybe we could make it Ball of DOOM! or BOD for short. This could be expanded to Land and Underwater Vehicalular Ball Of Doom (Luv Bod) I think everyone would like to drive the LUV BOD. I dunno. A different acronym could be used instead of LUV, but I think that BOD has more potential to sound cool; not POD.

the pod looks like Zim's ship from Invader Zim...a bubble of DOOM :D

well if I were on Triben universum and designed stuff for fighting, I sure wouldnt make flying pod which is only fun to fly with (like some guy compared to t1, where actually game makers didint know how to make well working vehicles or engine was not up to it), sure hell it needs to be effective on battlefield, why else would someone design it and produce it. makes no sense.

But looks good indeed :) keep it going.

In case the post hist last post didn't clue you in VirDT = |5150|Vir. So yeah, i think he played a little bit of T2.

That being said, 5150 stopped playing before the advent of spam scripts, and thus probably never witness long range vpad spam which was, and still is to some degree, all the rage in vehicle supression. =V= vs RT on Slapdash was an excellent example of spam taken to the extreme.

i've never seen vpad sniping be an issue in anything but pubs, but then again, they have to take pubs into more consideration than comp in situations like that.

The O sniping actually happened in T1 and not T2, and the only time it happened was on the pubs.
