It's $463 at newegg: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?descr iption=14-102-317&catalog=48&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=1 I would shop around a little more for the best price. Nvidia has improved recently as far as performance with the Radeons in current games. The ATI cards really have a stong advantage right now though in DX9-heavy games like HL2. I don't think T:V will be very DX9 feature intensive, so either ATI or Nvidia should be fine. FYI, the best Nvidia card right now is the FX 5950 and it's right around $400: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?descr iption=14-122-178&catalog=48&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=1 Virtus 01-28-2004, 09:49 AM Unless you need a new card for something right now, I don't see a point in discussing it right now. Current vid card prices will fall (some drastically) in the upcoming months and newer ones will be available. Might as well wait until open beta starts or T:V goes gold. Toshiro 01-28-2004, 09:54 AM i agree with virtus if it isn't v. urgent u should prolly better wait till the beta's here I currently have a gf4 ti 4200, don't really need the upgrade atm but going to get new vidcard when beta's here, just to have the vidcard that gives me the best performance ingame :) | ||
