what kind of system specs is tribes3 going to recomendcyanide 01-27-2004, 08:14 PM dfsdfdsf Breadman86 01-27-2004, 08:16 PM recommend? prolly dx9 card (as in geforce fx or radeon 9800s) and maybe 2.4ghz or somethin... minimum i expect to be a heckuva lot lower though as in, 1.3-1.5ghz range and geforce3s. ram is probably gonna be like 128 minimum. thats just what i think though, i don't think they want to give out stuff for sure. Theta 01-27-2004, 08:20 PM windows by itself takes 128 mb of ram cyanide 01-27-2004, 08:23 PM would a 2.6 p4, 512ddr ram, & a geforce fx be good enough to run it at full detail Thrax Panda 01-27-2004, 08:32 PM Hard to say. Depends on what you consider your minimum frame rate, what resolution you run at, what FX we're talking about, etc... But you should be fine to play the game in a lovely state. gumb0 juan 01-27-2004, 08:34 PM good shit cyanide 01-27-2004, 08:34 PM thanks my panda friend bartkusa 01-27-2004, 08:48 PM http://www.louisville.edu/speed/supercomputer.jpg RedSpider 01-27-2004, 08:54 PM What kind of FX cy? Monkee07 01-27-2004, 09:34 PM 1.3 GHz P4 512 MB RDRAM GeForce 3 Ti200 =/ I don't believe I've asked about my specs yet; think this would suffice at around 20-30FPS+ with medium detail, 800x600-1024x768, no AA/AF? Flexy 01-27-2004, 09:59 PM 1.3 GHz P4 512 MB RDRAM GeForce 3 Ti200 =/ I don't believe I've asked about my specs yet; think this would suffice at around 20-30FPS+ with medium detail, 800x600-1024x768, no AA/AF? my guess would by 30fps on that machine on low detail on 8x6. I've got a similar system, mines 1.4, with a g4 ti4200. I run ut2k3 at 70fps on low detail at 8x6, so my guess would be subtract 10-15 from that for t:v. random 01-27-2004, 10:13 PM i'd better get 200fps on my voodoo 3 (im serious, assholes) cyanide 01-27-2004, 10:20 PM What kind of FX cy? uhhh 9500 or something i am buying a new computer from dell Reverend Zero 01-27-2004, 10:22 PM Will T:V run on my 3000 node Beowulf cluster? Thrax, what computers do you guys use at the VU test labs in LA? Riavan 01-28-2004, 12:19 AM My old geforce 2 mx, could hardly handle unreal 2. I think the best idea for you trying to test if your computer can handle t:v would be to download the demo version of unreal2:XMP Yaason 01-28-2004, 02:11 AM http://www.tribalwar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=267931 Toshiro 01-28-2004, 03:11 AM i can run u2:xmp fine in 1280*1024 all the graphic settings at 'ultra high' (;f) and still get a decent framerate outside with some action (like 40-50ish) amd athlonXP 2400+ 1024mb DDR ram (pc2700) and a gf4 ti 4200 (128mb ddr version) now, if i buy a new vidcard, like a nextgen radeon , best one that's around at the moment of T:V beta would i be able to run it at the same graphic detail as u2:xmp? (resolution doesn't need to be 1280*1024, 1024*768 is fine too ;D) |baby|roach| 01-28-2004, 03:33 AM will my computer machine run the tribes3? p4 3.0ghz at over 3.2 9800pro gig of pc3200 | ||
