This is not meant as a flame so if it comes off this way sorry Thrax, but I am wondering how serious you guys are taking this "test", or if its just a let the "cool kids" of TW see a pre-beta / alpha of your game.

If its just a way to show off the game to some vets then I would like to take back my post, not because I am bitter but because I honestly dont want to waste your time, or my time going up there to do a serious testing session for something that was just meant to get some feedback.

I want T3 to be the best, because to date T1 was the most enjoyable game ive played but at the same time I think there are others who are better at telling you what will make it a great game, I will just tell you whats wrong. Anyways good luck and hope you guys put out a game that has the playability that T1 had, we need it as a community after T2's fuckup =)

Yes...Convince you? Well I've been playing Tribes and Tribes 2 (Rarely T2 base, mostly Classic, and not nearly as much as T1) since 99, I think I have pretty sensible ideas for what would make a good tribes game, and I don't hold any prejudices against new gameplay ideas (i.e. I'm not a raving "Remake T1 with better graphics or I won't play it!" fanatic; as long as it's fun in the end I don't care what you change). I've also done beta testing for a few non-Tribes games. I just want to see this game be as successful as possible, and I've got a lot of faith that Irrational can make it happen (just to do a little arse-kissing :D But seriously I don't think I've disagreed much with anything the devs have posted in terms of what the game needs to be successful)

The best part of your little tantrum is praising nofix for fixing server crashes. He was one of the first people to use them. He would get his ass kicked at tribes, and get all pissy and then crash the server to try and show that he was better than everyone. He should have been banned from TW the moment he joined. His trolling is just proof that nothing has changed. On top of that, his patch to attempt to stop server crashes was completely self motivated. "HEY LOOK AT ME! I AM SO NICE AND SMART!" Please.. you are a fucking fool and give him the only thing he really cares about, some internet fags to suck his dick.
