29th Speculation.

Well Id figure that after the 15th's information that somehow I was expecting something more, id start another thread on speculation for the 29th. (not that im dissapointed with WOFN, actually rather excited , but you all know what hype and mystery does)


What suprsises or "bombs" do you think will be dropped?



I cant wait to hear about all the different things/changes that will be made. Information on the air vehicle personally is what im really looking forward to. That and turrets/defense..

*gasp* Just thought of something. I have played a few games where E and Q are "lean" left and right. and I hope to GOD or (sierra) that they do not put this in......I know I may not be thinking rationally but I just dont have room for anything else. Especially not giving up keys directly surrounding WSAD.

Tribes is not really a "sneaky" game so leaning isn't that great of an idea. Especially since most of the weapons are splash damage, not accuracy based.

The big announcement is T:V is going to be cancelled.

I'm hoping for a beta date, new gameplay footage, and revealing of more content. BTW, is this conference going to be recorded and available for download? I won't be here to see/listen live due to work :(

air vehicle. scout/shrike hybrid. perhaps all of the rest of the vehicles, if they are actually happy with them.

a movie that doesn't suck, and showing off the new physics engine, and hopefully showing someone how actually knows how to ski doing something actually looking like fun.

at least one new weapon and one new pack. hopefully the classic SJ.

confirmation having CTF, arena, duel as shipping gametypes, but no news on new actually innovative gametypes. I don't think we'll hear about those things until less than a month before beta hits.

perhaps a 2 month wide "target" for beta hitting, but maybe nothing about beta at all. maybe something more substantial if it's closer than i think.

It's not going to be that big of a deal for TW readers. There will be some new stuff, but we're really targeting the print media, and the Asia Pacific media (Korea, etc.). It's a Media event, with a TW tag along.

Except that it will be a live demonstration, not a movie and hopefully you'll have KP playing so that we can actually see how it plays. And then PixieDee can beat all the media people and they'll cry about being beat by a girl.

For some reason I was under the impression major stuff was gonna be announced on that day.. :(There will be some major stuff, but we're not giving away the store. I just don't want people to expect this massive laundry list of new information and dates and such. We won't be announcing "Everything Else" on Thursday. We've got to save some for E3 :)

They will be revealing that the T:V source has been |-|@><0|23c| by chinese.
