Theres a really low buzzing noise coming out of my subwoofer. It's been like this for about a month now. The speakers are Bostin Acoustics I believe (bought them from a friend about 3 years ago), and they have been working perfect until the sub startin makin the sound. Any idea what it is and of a way to fix it? I could just stuff a shirt in the hole of my sub but that prolly isn't good for it, plus I get nothin from my sub then :P. Thanks in advance for any help!
could be interference from the lines. try seperating the cords / wires away from any other power cables...only thing i can think of

are your speaker's plugged into the same outlet/strip as your computer? if not, plug them into the same outlet/strip.

btw, how far away should the speaker lines be from the power cords? I think they're pretty much tangles together atm :x

it's usually not too big a deal. it sounds like you may have a ground loop. (different grounds on devices that share a common ground err... google it)
that's why i asked you to check the electrical connections.
if that's a no go, you may want to shut off your analog inputs on your sound card in its mixer panel and see if that helps.
