when I try too turn on my old pc it won't turn on..doesnt make any noises and yes its plugged in ;p

computer wont turn on..DarKSouL_BC 01-03-2004, 06:18 PM when I try too turn on my old pc it won't turn on..doesnt make any noises and yes its plugged in ;p maybe a dead power supply? alienkiller 01-03-2004, 06:33 PM make sure the switch on the pwersupply is turned on check all power connections to motherboard and peripherials most likely its the main power connector that isnt seated properly on the motherboard FREAK 01-04-2004, 05:19 PM my pc just did the same thing. my problem turned out to be the front panel switch. all i did was look in the mb manual and located the 2 posts that are used by the switch, crossed them with a small screwdriver. when the pc booted i jumped into the bios and set the power on to a key command. now i just ctrl/esc to boot. eventually i will replace the switch though.
