Hm.. I wonder what happened to my Linksys wired router. I'll call my parents at home tomorrow and let you know. How much you looking to spend?

you can get a new wired router for $30 at bestbuy, and a wireless for $50

might be rebates involved though :o

I would strongly advise against Linksys.

This would be a good choice:

How much would you ask for it, and about how many weeks do you think? I could hold if it's not too far off. It's mainly so I can chat on teh interweb and play XBox live at the same time, I just hope it's compatible..

Any word? See if you can find out the model number too, so I can try and do a compatibility check.

The Xbox has a standard 10/100Mbit Ethernet port. Shit, the console is basically a dedicated game computer anyway. There won't be any compatibility issues to worry about.

Believe it or not, there are actually routers that require some extra configuring, or some that won't work with it at all. Here, check it out:

The good news is that if the router turns out not to be compatible, I can still sell it to you :D
