was this model made *before* the devs played t1/t2..
or was it just some sort of experiment?

that was the 1st screenshot we ever got, thus its just some dumb placeholder model to make us freak out

Before really comparing them I first preferred #2 but after glancing #3 just seems better, can't really put my finger as to why exactly though.

yeah, i guess i'll go with three. While this is pre t1, by the timeline they are still atleast 2 millenia ahead of us.

i like 1 the best, it would be better if the gray thing over the disc was gone though

i like 2 and 3, will the screen on the back show your ammo? or will they show the reload progress or when its aimed at someone or what?

hmmm... the screen is sorta interresting now that you mention it... I'd like to know what that does...

I'm pretty sure it displays the reloading status, in the pic below you can clearly see it reads "FIRE" at the end.

no kidding.. didnt notice just how ownage that terrain was until you pointed it out.

and that thing on the back of the disc is a reload progress indicator..

that should be obvious, if you pay attention to that part in hi-res shots. conveniently enough, there hasnt been a single first person view of the disc firing.. so at this point, it can only be an educated guess, based on common sense.

[edit] gah, way to post while i was rewatching a few t:v vids looking for a first person shot..

hm, i just thought of something.. if there is a possibility for vertical tilt movement (no stip-up-the-ass).. then you could combine a snowboarding mod with T:V... imagine doing a backflip off a jump and MAing someone while upside-down.
