WASD or ESDF

What keyboard config do your prefer?

I use wasd

but I would rather use esdf ... it's too hard to change though. I've been using wasd for too long

Totally cursor keys.

ESDF is better since it allows for more adjacent keys to be binded to whatever else, but I'm just too used to WASD

ESDF, i prefer to have my hand in the home position, plus it allows one to have more buttons within reach.

I used WASD, but that doesn't mean it's better. I just never attempted to use ESDF because I was used to WASD. I think ESDF does give you more buttons to use though. However, for the sake of commonality, I guess, I'd say make WASD the default keys.

esdf, basically because i completely stopped playing fps's for like 6 months between t1 and t2, and i no longer had any sort of attachment to one or the other, so i just went with the t2 default. though now practically everything except for movement is rebound. I think esdf is better though because of the more adjacent keys thing already mentioned above.

Yes, HOME position is WIN!! More keys within reach. All my games are now reconfigured to ESDF.

WASD are for people that can't change or open up to new and better ideas.. :o (Fightin' words) :p

WASD is for sharing a keyboard.

I dunno why people say ESDF gives you more buttons, I can use all the buttons on the left side of the keyboard with WASD :|

there is a dude i lan with, he uses left click for forward, and right click for backpedal, then uses his keyboard to fire and shit

esdf kicks the crap out of wasd

Arrow keys. Simply because they are the default keys in MechWarrior3, and that was the first computer game I played for real/competition. Been that way ever since.

Well, most of us are smart enough to rebind keys.. :) How bout an option when you first install?

Slight variation but allows easier mapping and access to the top row.

period, allows acces to all need buttons and if you pull your finger off of the d the little thingie bump on it allows you to know when you've come back to it correctly

anything else is illogical
