Pisses me of just thinking about it..

T2 = Unique fucking names that OWNED.

I said I've played T1, but I didn't start playing hardcore (so to speak) til T2... and one of the AMAZINGLY AWESOME things that was in T2... was fucking unique names. In order for someone to smurf... they had to buy ANOTHER CD, which totally owned every other game out there.

I'm going to be VERY disappointed if it turns out like CS (where the CD key is linked to your "account", but you can be a fucking FAGGOT and smurf.

Checking GUID numbers to see if someone is a smurf is fuckcing stupid. :|

I actually like steam...but i do agree about the unique names and smurfing so no :D

I don't hate Steaming pile of crap so much as the crappy updates they are sending that seem to break something new every week.

T2 had people w/ very original names because they couldnt smurf, thus they used thier normal names, and comming from tribes 1 most of the community didnt have gayed out names like Syphon, SniperWolfX, goku420 and whatever else a random name generator could come up with.

Speaking of unoriginal names, i find it really funny when someone ripps a name off something, such as Cloud or Squall from FF, and when they run into another Cloud or Squal it always ends up a big fight as to who had the name the longest, when in fact they both ripped it off something. The farthest thier originality goes is by adding an X or - marks at the end of thier name.

Steam sucks, so no.

T2's reg system is the best smurf protection I've seen, but alot of people bought used CD's or used their friends CD's when they stopped playng and had smurf accounts.
