half the sky 12-17-2003, 04:40 PM Yes, since my rebuild I have some kind of conflict.
Probably drivers, but I've found none that work well.
Here are samples of what my game looks like:

half the sky 12-17-2003, 05:01 PM Actually I was thinking it's like I'm trapped in 70's shirt hell, but I can definitely see the similarities with your Dr seuss pic. <3
take that same map and in your console type in
$specialfog = true;
now it'd do either one of two things, it'd either A) remove some of the fog plane or B) make a trippy ass fog plane.
suxors 12-17-2003, 07:12 PM it looks cooler like that than it does regularly
|MrSniper|Nyx 12-17-2003, 09:09 PM I had that happen before, but everything was getting overlaid with some weird purple color.
Got Haggis? 12-17-2003, 10:01 PM what video card?

no shit. make a backup of your t2 directory somewhere cuz i WANT that mode. i might play a little TR2 or T2 classic or something just to see those trippy graphics :o
I'm willing to help you troubleshoot if you'll give me your system specs.

What it does is it fucks up most maps... and one some (like Damnation for example), it removes the "fade" of the fog. Another words, the fogline is still the exact same, but the "foggy" affect that "fades" into the fogline... is gone. However, all objects that are *normally* in the "fading fog", are still foggy, including players, trees, buildings, etc.
Just thought I'd clear that up ;)

half the sky 12-18-2003, 08:18 PM Thanks for all of your suggestions! This problem looks like it's fixed with new drivers. Thanks Colosus!
I'll let you know if it goes awry again. <3
...now, who wants to make a Dr. Seuss map? anyone?

Well, to be honest, (and yeah, my ego is clashing) I put it in layman terms for a reason. Val, I am a scripter myself ;)
