Okay..sorry if I shouldn't have posted here. I certainly didn't intend to break any rules.

As for my BF1942 pricing. I have recently revised it and will be fixing my pricing page asap. 32 person BF1942 is actually $275.00, not the $392 as posted. That price puts me lower than some other co.'s and higher than others. That is the best price I can offer. Some will feel it is good, and others won't. I can't be all things to everyone.

T2 I will have to look into. I cannot beat everyone out there. But I will honestly look into the pricing and will adjust it if warranted.

I currently offer the following standard and special features. Free website hosting, cheap TS2 servers, and an extra 2 players slots and 5.00 off of the setup fee.

I could probably work something out that would see TW get a referral rebate for any customers who sign up and mention they referred through TW. Say....$5.00 per referral.

Hope this helps clear things up some. I will post back about T2 pricing etc.

An update for T2 pricing. I have checked the pricing of some of my direct competitors. I am under them all. Admittedly I am still higher than some out there. So for the market I choose to be in, my pricing is appropriate. I will leave my standard pricing as it is.

I am now updating my premium pricing to reflect a level of pricing that will be more acceptable to the gamers out there, and still allow me to run the business.

I'm not sure I understand why a 16 player T2 server is $62 and a 32 player is $197...

I am not sure if I understand your concern. However, if you are under the impression that a 32 person server only uses double the resources as a 16 person server (thus, should only be double the price) then you misunderstand. That is why companies that charge a price based solely on SLOTS, either is overpriced or is losing money. The more spaces in a game, the more bandwidth and cpu resources are being used. And it isn't equal per the number of slots.

If it were, it would be so much easier to price.

After some deliberation, I've decided that this isn't in the "spirit" of TW Classifieds. No doubt the members of Tribalwar and the gaming community at large appreciate what your business offers, but your post is somewhat inappropriate for this forum. Classifieds is here for the forum's members to sell their wares. Nothing more. Furthermore, Colosus raised the point that it creates a conflict of interest, given that HomeLAN (our host) offers some of the same services.

I am willing to make exceptions when special deals are offered to forum subscribers (registered or otherwise) and there are not obvious conflicts of interest. TySoft's web hosting is a perfect example of that.

I will use this experience to update the forum rules. No action will be taken beyond the closure of this thread.
