hey, i was wondering if anyone knows how to cut a map in pieces. If u look at reliquary you can see theres a line going through the middle, it looks like a part has been cut away. And the part which was left has been copied and turned around, then added to the other part again (i know it sounds odd). I dont know if it is possible though :/ i was just hoping maybe someone here has an answer (because it would be great to make some new maps with it)

I know you can duplicate the terrain and have 2 terrains... (or more?)
Are you seeing this from a distance? Because I know with OpenGL, terrain that gets near a staticobj (base, etc) looks really jagged/doesn't meet until you get close.

you mean the line ? i see it when i get near to it but it is in the middle of the terrain. Not near a base e.g.

Dynamix probably had a tool that they used to make the Balanced maps, that they've never released. Most of the Balanced maps are lame anyway though, because they're exact mirrors of each other, and it's like the mapper just got lazy.

Erm
Would I not be right in saying that the reason there in the group BALANCED because they are balanced sides, ie, one team doesn't have an advantage over the other...
Thats why both sides are the same, and not the mappers got lazy..
