iblis 12-01-2003, 09:25 PM I'm having some trouble with the weather option. I'm playing in OpenGL TNT/TNT2 and using Andrews 15k config. And yes, I've got the weather enabled. I can't see anything on maps like SH and RD, I can just hear the rain pooring.
Any ideas how to get it working? I have heard about other people that are in opengl that got it working, so it should be possible for me too. BTW I'm using a GF2 32mb DRR.

Shinigami 12-05-2003, 10:09 PM The t1 engine was engineered for Glide. While it may work in OpenGL in some odd cases, it probably won't work in all of them. Kinda like the GL glitches, some people have some, others don't.

Stiggy 12-15-2003, 04:48 PM i found on some of the newer maps ive had weather. but old maps like rd sh sb, only ever had weather on 3dfx mode. if i remember correctly, i had snow on CoN, but it jerked the shit out of my pc for some unknown reason.
Deceptikon 12-16-2003, 05:12 AM Snow always worked fine for me on Nvidia based opengl but not rain, but I think Manical had a way of getting rain to work properly in opengl.
