Im from the other side of the pool but since i see alot of devīs listening to this forum only (bleh..) i though i would post here instead.
The game is based on the ut2k3 engine as i gather, and that game has a really good stand alone skinning tool. Would it be possible for T:Vīs ver (hopefully there is) to be released to the community before the actual game comes out?
I, and alot of other skinners would like to get to work on making those sweet skins as fast as possible, and being able to work on them to have them finished when the game is released would be a cool idea imo.
or at least, the skins in skinning format? I dont see how this could affect the sales of the game negativly, only positivly.

Well the beta will be released to the general public probably 3-4 months before the actual game is released. Would that help skinners?

I thought all alterations would have to be effective server-side.
Skinning will be possible? How will we police this cheat-wise?
I could give two fucks about skinning and am quite pleased with the hugely reduced role for scripting.
