getting rid of the "select OS " screen

So a friend of mine tried to put XP on his 98se system, and ended up keeping 98, but when he boots up, he gets a "select OS screen" with two options, 98 and xp. I haven't seen this, I'm going on his description, but I think that sounds right. He just wnats to egt rid of the XP installed on his computer since he still uses 98.

Yes, I know he should jsut use the xp, but he doesn't want to. I'm too busy fucking up routers and posting here to go help him, so can anyone give me a quick yes or no as to whether or not he can uninstall the xp install, and whether or not he can egt rid of that option :heart:

tell him to choose win98 at that menu, then when 98 boots up, tell him to shut down into ms dos mode.

then type fdisk/mbr
