wireless network on AOL highspeed? [Archive]

I'm trying to set this up for a friend, andit won't work. I don't think you need the details of what I'm doing, but when I set everything up right, The router's program does not see the internet connection, and I think it's because to access the internet you have to use an AOL browser, and even after I've logged her onto aol, IE doesn't work. I hope thats clearer than it sounds to me, but basically I think you can ONLY access the internet through the AOL browser, and so the router can't work.

I have little or no AOl experience though, I thought maybe one of you could clarify this? Is it possible, has it been done?
