WinXP +Intellimouse [Archive]

Does anyone run anything newer than 5.0 in XP and get it to work at all?

4.1 and 4.12 install fine, but then the software does not see my mouse correctly, and crashes if I try to remap buttons. 5.0 runs fine, but has no keystroke option, making the mouse almost useless in games.

Ideas?

I know you got this answer in GD, but Logitech Mouseware works good, if you have a Logitech mouse. ;)

Whatever is happening there, it looks like you need to reinstall that app. It is BORKED.

"Main.cpl",Mouse" is the Control Panel applet that governs your mouse. Broken it is, yes, hmm...
