TseTse, these days customer service and support from any PC vendor is very hit or miss, so I wouldn't bank on that too much. You're more likely to get good help here or at [H]ardforum before you do from some help desk guy reading from a manual.

As far as warranties, nearly all retail-boxed components come with a one-year warranty themselves, many with 3 years.

that and shipping your box out sucks, and its tough to get a tech out to your house.

not particularly. this case was suggested to me among a few others, by a friend.

what's special about the aluminum ones?

if i knew of neato stuff to look for in a case, i could see myself spending a tad more :D

im not much into fancy holes, lights and glowing crap tho.

here's another pimp one they got there

1) Significantly lighter (weight wise).
2) Conducts heat a tiny bit better, but some would say this is negligible.

the downside is that aluminum is softer, so you don't want to bang it around. it could also possibly get crushed a bit in shipping, although this is balanced out by the fact that it's lighter, so there is less weight to throw around.

i recently bought a chieftec for a friend. check it out at newegg. just go to cases, chieftec. it'll show up. i'm liking it a lot so far.

if you're looking for quiet then you want a dell case or something equivalent. all the panels are double insulated (metal covered with plastic).

if you have ANY fan holes in your case, the noise will get out, no matter what the manufacturer claims.

Just invest in a decent fanbus, and only crank the fans up when you need maximum airflow.

or just find a case with a couple 120mm fan mounts, they're quieter

These guys are the closest thing in terms of giving you the same options as building your own rig without actually building it yourself. ;)

Plus they give you a pretty good deal. Only thing I dont like it some of the cases, but they give you options in that dept. as well.
