Changing Program Icons?spydur 10-12-2003, 11:54 PM I've been finding icons on websites like Deviantart, wincustomize etc etc and I am wondering how to implement them without having to acquire one of those stupid icon programs that are advertised on those websites. FUBAR|Ascain 10-13-2003, 10:41 PM The self generated shortcuts for Office etc use registry information to launch, and as such they have no path information and certain features on the properties tabs like 'find target' and 'change icon' are disabled. To change the icons for these applications, you need to manually create your own shortcut first, then change the properties.
