Lots of people die, and somehow this mediocre man, JFK, became some kind of a hero! Hey, look: people die. It's a fact of life. And most of them die without having a very nice life at all; most of them die horribly, slowly, of starvation or disease. It's a world FUBAR in a big way.

I'm not one of those guys who chooses to inform you of this every step of the way, but it means that I'm not going to give much of a windward piss about the death of <b>one</b> politician, who not only would have had an easy and carefree life anyway but ended his life after being President of the United States, revered and respected by millions. That's not a bad way to go.

Now concentration camps or refugee camps, I'd agree, THAT is not a subject for laughing about. But Kennedy and the homeless -- in a world where Subway restuarants in Columbus Ohio are offering $1000 sign-on bonuses to anyone that stays 3 months, along with $8 and hour jobs starting wage, I don't think there is much of an excuse to be homeless. Not if you're young and somewhat healthy . . .

btw, the kennedy one is my favorite. Making that upside-down zig reflection match the feel of the rest of the frame is something I'm particularly proud of :)

fwiw, imo having fun with a picture of anyone getting their brains blown out is in poor taste, regardless of who it is/was.

If it was just a picture of a head being blown off, ok then I would agree. But the Zapruder films are obsessed over way more than any UFO pics. This is just a 400x300 picture of a guy with a pink dust bunny on his noggin. I mean, the real JFk freaks sit in front of their laserdisc players and watch that clip OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER again, examining every single part of it, watching this guy die right in front of them a combined total of around 3,454,607 times EVERY SINGLE DAY. It's like they have an itinerary for the day: "9:00 - 9:15: kill JFK 7,987 times. 9:20: haircut."

So, no, I don't feel even the SLIGHTEST twinge of guilt about poking fun at this guy's death. I wasn't involved, so I don't feel guilty. Maybe if some of you guys knew him personally.
