members dont have the permission. its so that we dont spam and stuff. I think it is a fair system. If only i knew how long i would have to wait...

whats up with that? my friend drunkhobo registered a while ago and he can get it fine ... or did i just register at the wrong time ... after these rules were implemented

my friend ookblah can get on and he says Members are posting on it right now

yes members were allowed to stay if they registered before the block went into effect.

i didn't know it was 1 year though, i thought it was 6 months.

i didnt even know it was a period of time, i thought it was also depending on the quality of your posts. Oh well.. 11 months to go i think :-p

Whats the member adoption program. Over my many months of browsing as a guest on this forum i did notice people with signatures that say "blah blah blah is my member." what exactly does this mean?

It's just a joke, the adopt-a-member program. It's 6 months to see GD, though some people (myself included), believe that everyone should be able to read it again, and members can post after 3 months, new threads after 6 months.

By the way, don't make it obvious that you are smurfing accounts (more than 1 account), because both will get banned.
