no chat?

I just installed the new LT maps, and after I fired up the game, I had lost all chat. I have all the chat menus and what not, when I press the chat button I see it, but I dont see my text when I enter it. Anyone know what this could be caused by?

It's definately not the LT maps, I'll tell you that. The container is probably just off screen.

Try pressing 'k' while in-game. See if the chat box is disabled. (Dunno if it can be this way, haven't played Tribes in a while)
