One of the Tribalwar staff members (name withheld) was browsing T3.org and noticed some news that should go out to the masses.
<blockquote class=p><b>TR2-C Tourney Maps</b>
We have decided which maps we will be using for the tourny. Here they are:

- Skinny Dip
- Sol's Descent
- Surreal_TR2
- Hillside_TR2
- Arrow
- Drifter
- Final

You can download all of the new maps <a href="http://www.destos.com/bugs/Maps/TR2-TournyPack.zip">here</a>. We would like to thank Sabre for all his hard work in creating these maps. They have been uploaded to TR2-Central:Dallas. TR2-Central::Detroit will be updated soon.

<b>Defense Turret Released</b>
The long-awaited client side cheat detection program for Tribes 2, known as Defense Turret (DT), has been released. More information about Defense Turret can be found at the DT website <a href="http://themasters.co.za/defenseturret/defenseturret.mhtml">here</a>.

Many thanks go out to TheRoDent for developing this great anti-cheat device. The client install can be downloaded <a href="http://themasters.co.za/defenseturret/defenseturret_1.11.exe">here</a>.

Further DT support can be found on the <a href="http://new.tribes2.za.net/forums/">DT forums</a>.</blockquote>

You're supposed to delete cheats before installing it

yeah i could see that happening to people that have cheats
only changes to T2 i use are the orange weapon skins, red discs, and the Domo Flags and Flares.

Vlasic, what about those of us that have no clue as to what scripts are considered "cheats" and those that just enhance the game? I have just reinstalled the game after an 11 month absence. I am not PC litterate por chit. Matter of fact, was surprised I even got the thing to work. I D/L'd everything I thought I needed for TeamWarfare. And was lucky that I had saved the needed patches in another file so as not to have to go through 3-4 days worth of dial-up D/L's. Anyway, I think Rodent did a great thing for the game.
Thing is, all of PJ's, Dio's, etc...scripts just appeared in my game files without me installing them.
I am wondering if there is a list of files that need to be checked (or deleted) before proceeding with the installation of Defence Turret.
BTW, (guess this shoots down my heat seeking CG buwetts)
Heh, Thanks to all of the Tribal War junkies that have worked their butts off trying to make the game as good as it is.
As for you Mikey(Kwag), hey man! Guess who the hell this is? Am thinking you have no clue, but will find out soon enough.
