Trying to host a Tribes 2 game...

and need to open ports on my routers firewall. I have searched the web and the only info I came across was this.

Tribes 2 port information

TCP Ports: 15101,15104,15024,15206,1 5800
UDP ports: 27999,28000, 28001-29000

And I found another site that posted this info.

Ports 28000-28009, 6667-6669, and upper UDP ports 1024+.

Anyone know which one or if both are right and if its the second one what does the 1024+ mean?

nope, You need to free up the other ones or people won't be able to see the server in the master list etc. Do you have a linksys router?

No Zigma I have a D-Link DI-604 but dont know just what all ports need to be opened. Also don't know for sure just what the 1024+ would be.

That's how i was able to host behind my linksys firewall. It can get messy.
