I was messing around with Partition Tragic 6.0 and tried to create a new partition on my 120 gig Seagate, it kept giving me errors everytime i applied the changes(error #702) so I tried it again a few times. When I rebooted it lets me select WinXp to boot into but then BSoD's and tells me that it stopped loading to prevent any errors

So now I can boot into my win2k drive and I can see the 120 gig via windows explorer but when i open partition tragic it just labels the 120 gig seagate as "BAD" and I can't format because of a bad argument

If 2000 is like XP, did you try to partition it with Disk Management tool?

Go to Seagtes site and grab whatever drive test ytility they have available for download and test the drive. If its under warranty you can just get it RMA'd.

Wow. That sounds just like the old 4 gig hd in my sister's machine.
